My name is Yasuko, I am a mum of three with a passion for drawing, making and wearing clothes, mixing japanese and western styles.
With my Dans la lune work, I try to keep things simple & cute. In order to keep them simple for everyone, on top of clothes, I started to make sewing patterns with a recipe-like illustrated instruction set.
One thing struck me from the beginning : kids clothes out there (and sewing patterns as well) are great. However it can be challenging to find really original stuff for boys, so I definitely wanted to help in this field as well.
Dans la lune started in 2008 in the UK and moved as we relocated around. After a stay in Japan, I am now based in HK.
