I am a visual artist living and working in Athens, Georgia, who makes paintings and drawings in a variety of water-based media. Watercolor, gouache, acrylics, and inks are my favorite materials and I love working on paper.
I studied Fine Art at The University of Georgia in Athens, where I currently teach studio art classes part time. I also am an art instructor at Gainesville State College. I have multiple bodies of work in progress, some of which you will find here in my Etsy store, Two Elm Studio,Gregg Irby Fine Art Gallery, Emily Amy Gallery.
I find inspiration in the geometries of organic forms and am fascinated by forms both too small to be seen by the naked eye, and too big to be comprehended by the eyes alone.
