Memories, years or just seconds old, lie dormant but can be awoken by chance linking of colours, smells, touch or the fleeting image. The miniature domes I produce are from those chance/deliberate meeting of objects, contained miniature objects, symbols of the past. My book art focuses on insects, plant forms, perceived patterns and interesting juxtapositions of textures in contemporary architecture and iconic urban imagery: photos prints and between people and their environments are another characteristic source of inspiration : sculptures
