I am a photographer and fashion designer currently based in the magnificent city of New Orleans. I founded Altar the label in 2010 after working under the name Junkhouse Dollyard for six years. I get most of my inspiration from vintage and couture designs. I have been sewing and selling since 2004 in Milwaukee, WI, where I was part of a collective clothing store named Fasten. From there I moved to Japan where I sold my wares at a vintage and designer store named “Rainbow” (circa 2006-2008). Since then I have been selling online and in brick and mortar stores around the world.
